The Fyffe Centre is a direct access hostel that provides accommodation for single homeless men and women. Accommodation is provided through 27 single rooms. Additionally there is a large communal lounge, dining room and garden area.
The Centre provides 3 meals a day; a self service breakfast and 2 freshly prepared meals.
Bostock House is part of the resettlement programme and provides interim move-on facilities for service users at the Fyffe Centre. Bostock House offers 15 self contained flats and provides an environment for individuals to live independently whilst also having the support of staff on hand should the need arise.
Both of the projects encourage service users to participate in group activities. ‘Skills for Life’ training was recently launched in partnership with Lowestoft College. Weekly sessions are held in the communal lounge at the Fyffe Centre and tuition is provided in a relaxed environment focusing on literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
The Fyffe Centre welcomes referrals from statutory and voluntary agencies as well as self referrals. Places will be allocated on a full Needs and Risk assessment.
