Projects - Haven Court

Haven Court offers supported accommodation for young mothers and pregnant women between the ages of 16-25.

Accommodation is provided through 6 bedsits and 6 one bedroom flats. All are self contained and furnished to a high standard.  The project encourages the women to live independently but support is provided from staff 24 hours a day.

Facilities include a communal lounge area, a training kitchen, laundry facilities and a recently opened gymnasium that was provided through a grant from Groundswell submitted by the women at Haven Court.  There is a further training room available for in-house training as well as a venue for local community groups.

Haven Court offers a variety of activities for the young women that prepares them for their new role as a parent including first aid in the home, parenting skills, baby massage as well as personal development such as IT and cookery tuition.
